Full Time
Experience true paddock to plate cuisine by working as WAIT STAFF in our award-winning restaurant located north of Oamaru
THE ROLE
Our restaurant is actively seeking enthusiastic wait staff and barista who can work in a high momentum environment in a full-time or casual role interfacing with customers and working alongside staff at all levels.
We have positions available for someone who has a comprehensive background in restaurant service and can bring this with them, enhancing our customer dining experience and helping us elevate our standards further.
You will be joining a close-knit team with a diversity of backgrounds and skillsets, your ability to work well with others in a high-intensity environment is a must, if you can gel with customers and staff alike, we want you.
Attributes required are confidence in your working ability and in presentation, attention to detail, good-natured, always having a smile, approachable and fun (like us).
Requirements for this role:
• Willingness to learn fine dining hospitality service
• Barista skills preferred
• An interest in cuisine, wine, beer and sustainably sourced foods
• The ability to keep calm and controlled during busy periods
• Good time-management skills
• Full-time hours, part-time weekends and public holidays
• Available Friday & Saturday nights, and weekends
• Trustworthy and reliable with excellent references
• A current NZ driver’s license
• Reliable transport
We offer generous remuneration $27 - $30 depending on experience, delicious food while at work, the ability to grow in your role, gain skills & qualifications and work in an award-winning restaurant with a high standard of service and a great culture.
In this role you will support the Restaurant Manager with everyday operations in a diverse role which allows growth and to advance your career in the hospitality industry, entirely trained and funded by us.

SENIOR CHEF DE PARTIE
Our restaurant kitchen is actively seeking a capable senior chef who can work in a high momentum environment, alongside and under the management of the business owner.
This role requires someone who can work under pressure, take instruction well and meet the standard that our award-winning kitchen requires.
Requirements for this role:
• Senior Chef de Partie kitchen experience
• Maintain a consistently high food quality
• The ability to keep calm and controlled during busy periods
• Be adaptable and cook in high volume
• Comply with safe food recording requirements
• Good communication skills & love working in a team
• Available for full-time hours, Thurs – Mon
• Available Friday & Saturday nights and weekends
• Previous work references required
• A current NZ driver’s license
• Permit to work in NZ / permanent residency
• Trustworthy and reliable
